Re: Amendment to Condo Permit 92-04
Salvarezza Residence
Dear Mr. Lynch:
Thank you again for taking a few minutes to chat with me yesterday afternoon. In accordance
with that discussion, we hereby submit our application for an amendment to Condo Permit 92-04.
Per our discussion, we have not included site photos, but have included reduced site plans and
elevations. Please use those photos already in file 92-04. Also, please note that we have marked
the areas approved as part of Permit 92-04 on these plans for your easy reference.
The Home Owners Association (HOA) has given us their verbal approval and we will deliver
their written approval as soon as it is available. In the interim, we have included a copy of the
phone message from the HOA's architectural consultant stating their approval with 4
administration (non-design) conditions.
Since we seem to have a bit of a stand-off (i.e. the HOA wants your approval and you want
theirs). We hope this note indicates to you that we, in good faith, have indeed processed the
plans through to their approval.
As you illustrated, this project has been confusing. We have worked very hard to bring all sides
together and to coordinate the work into one clear and neat set of plans.

The application for Condo Permit 92-04 included in its description of work "an enlargement to
the living room". We do not know how this slipped through the cracks on their plans, but the
Client understood that this addition was already approved. It is clear you did not share that
understanding, but this misunderstanding, in our opinion, makes this application as much a
clarification as an amendment to Condo Permit 92-04.
Regardless of what we call it, here is the application.
Permit 92-04 was processed and approved in approximately three weeks. We hope your
familiarity with the project, the nature of the amendment requested and the fact that the plans will
be approved by Esgil today, will encourage you to find a little time to kick this through the
system.
We know this is an unusual request but in the interest of harmony, everyone involved from us
to the Owners, the Contractor, the HOA and your own Building Department would greatly
appreciate that effort. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
M. Booth
