NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to you, because your interest may be affected, that the
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the Council
Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m.. on *
Wednesday, August 4, 1999, to consider a request for approval of a Mitigated Negative
Declaration, Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Tract Map,
Condominium Permit, and Hillside Development Permit to create a 16-unit
condominium project located on the south side of Gibraltar Street near the intersection
of Jerez Court in the RD-M zone and Local Facilities Management Zone 6 and more
particularly described as:
Lots 399, 400, and 401 of La Costa South unit No. 5, in the
City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 6600, filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, March 10, 1970.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after July 29, 1999. If

The time within which you may judicially challenge this Mitigated Negative Declaration,
Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Tract Map, Condominium
Permit, and Hillside Development Permit, if approved, is established by state law and/or
city ordinance, and is very short. If you challenge the Mitigated Negative Declaration,
Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Tract Map, Condominium
Permit, and Hillside .Development Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only
those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice
or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public
hearing.
