Geotechnical Report: Report of Geotechnical Investigation, Poinsettia 61 Development

The referenced PT foundation excavations (described above, pictured below) exposed competent compacted fill. The
bearing conditions exposed are consistent with the conditions anticipated in the referenced geotechnical investigation
report and the Post Tension (PT) Model Home Plan Review. The foundation bearing soils appear to have a low expansion
potential, and are considered suitable for the support of the proposed structure. The foundation dimensions meet the
minimum geotechnical depth and width requirements. The dimensions per the referenced foundation plan are to be
verified by others.
The PT Slab subgrade contains numerous shallow plumbing trenches. Proper jetting techniques appear to have been used
to provide consolidation.
NOTE: Footings should be cleaned of loose and deleterious material prior to placing concrete.
