All IRRIGATION PIPES SHALL BE STENCILED WITH THE WARNING "NON-POTABLE OR RECYCLED WATER", COLOR CODED PURPLE AND LAID WITH WARNING TAP£ ANO STENCILING ORIENTED TOWARD THE TOP OF THE TRENCH PER THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT'S RULES AND REGULATIONS. 16. WHEN A POTABLE WATER LINE AND RECYCLED WATER LINE CROSS, THE RECLAIMED LINE SHALL BE INSTALLED WITHIN A PROTECTIVE SLEEVE. THE SLEEVE SHALL EXTEND 10 FEET FROM EACH SIDE, FROM THE CENTER LINE OF POTABLE LINE, FOR A TOTAL OF 20 FEET. 17. A 10 POOT HORIZONTAL SEPARATION BETWEEN POTABLE WATER AND RECYCLED WATER MAINS MUST BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. THE POTABLE LINE MUST BE INSTALLED ABOVE THE RECYCLED LINE. 18. A MINIMUM OF 12 INCHES OF VERTICAL SEPARATION BETWEEN UTILITIES MUST BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. COLOR; PURPLE BACKGROUND WITH BLACK LETTERING. 1.
