Dear Ms. Sillen:
This letter is to inform you that certain conditions must be met prior to the
construction of the deck, permitted by Building Permit CB910085. The Permit,
through administrative oversight, was issued without benefit of review by the City
Engineering Department. The deck, as proposed, extends five feet into a fifteen foot
wide Sewer Easement, which runs along the rear property line. To meet the
requirements for construction, you must either move the deck out of the easement,
or obtain an Above Ground Encroachment Permit from the Engineering Department.
If you have questions, or would like further information regarding an Above Ground
Encroachment Permit, please contact Carolyn Weaver of the Engineering Department
at 438-1161, extension 4324.
