It is the opinion of this engineer that the garden wall as built on the subject property per detail C/1 is adequate to
resist the imposed soil retaining, seismic and wind loads as required by the 2007 CBC.
Please find the supporting documentation. The wall has been checked as a 6" CMU wall (conservative) restrained
near the bottom by the concrete slab.
