The Planning Division has completed a review of your request for an extension of Minor Subdivision MS
15-01 -Naylor Jordan TPM, pursuant to California State Assembly Bill AB 1561 and Senate Bill 281
(Government Code Section 65914.5). After careful consideration of the circumstances surrounding this
request, it has been determined that the 18-month extension for "housing entitlements" pursuant to
California State Assembly Bill AB 1561 and Senate Bill 281 (Government Code Section 65914.5) applies
to Minor Subdivision MS 15-01 -Naylor Jordan TPM. Therefore, the City Planner APPROVES this
extension of Minor Subdivision MS 15-01-NAYLOR JORDAN TPM for eighteen (18) months from July
30, 2021, to January 30, 2023, based on the following findings and conditions.
Findings:
1. That the project qualifies for an automatic 18-month extension as a "housing entitlement" pursuant
to California State Assembly Bill AB 1561 and Senate Bill 281 (Government Code Section 65914.5).
2. That all of the findings contained in the approval letter of Minor Subdivision MS 15-01, dated July
30, 2015, apply to this extension and are incorporated herein by reference and remain in effect.
Conditions:
1. All of the conditions contained in the approval letter for the second extension of Minor Subdivision
MS 15-01, dated July 25, 2019, apply to this extension and are incorporated herein by reference and
remain in except Condition No. 34 which is replaced by Condition No. 2.
2. This extension of Minor Subdivision MS 15-01 is granted for a period of eighteen (18) months from
July 30, 2021, through January 30, 2023, unless extended per Chapter 20.24.180 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code.
