IND/CA TED ON THE ARCHITECTURAL SET OF ELECTRICAL PLANS.
SUMP LEVEL CONTROLS:
MERCURY TUBE SWITCH LEVEL CONTROLS ARE TO BE USED TO CONTROL
PUMPS. THESE LEVEL CONTROLS ARE TO BE USED FOR AU TOMA TIC
OPERATION WITH AN ELECTRIC AL TERNA TOR. THE LOWER CONTROL IS SET
AT THE TURN OFF LEVEL, THE UPPER CONTROL IS SET TO THE TURN ON
LEVEL REQUIRED AND THE OVERRIDE CONTROL IS SET ABOVE THE UPPER
CONTROL SO THAT BOTH PUMPS WILL COME ON IF THE LEVEL RISES ABOVE
THE UPPER CONTROL. THIS OVERRIDE CONTROL ALSO PROVIDES SAFETY. IF
ONE PUMP FAILS FOR ANY REASON, THE OTHER PUMP WILL AUTOMATICALLY
OPERA TE ON THE OVERRIDE CONTROL UNTIL THE TROUBLE IS CORRECTED.

HYDRAULJCALLY APPLIED FIBER MATERIAL. WHEN STRAW IS USED IT MUST BE
ANCHORED TO THE SLOPE BY MEGHAN/CALLY PUNCHING NO LESS THAN 5D% OF
THE STRAW INTO THE SOIL.
3. FERTILIZER CONSISTING or AMMONIUM PHOSPHATE SULFATE, 16-20-0, W,TH
15% SULPHUR APPLIED AT THE RATE OF 500 lbs. PER ACRE.
AREAS TO BE HYDROSEEDED SHALL BE PREPARED PRIOR TO HYDROSEEDING BY:
1. ROUGHENING THE SURFACE TO BE PLANTED BY ANY OR A COMBINATION OF:
a. TRACK WALKING SLOPES STEEPER THAN B: 1
b. HARROWING AREAS 6: 1 OR FLATTER THAT ARE SUFFICIENTLY FRIABLE.
c. RIPPING AREAS THAT WILL NOT BREAK UP USING ITEMS a OR b ABOVE.
2. CONDITIONING THE SOILS SO THAT IT IS SUITABLE FOR PLANTING BY:
a. ADJUSTING THE SURFACE SOIL MOISTURE TO PROVIDE A DAMP BUT NOT
SATURATED SEED BED.
b. THE ADDITION OF SOIL AMENDMENTS, PH ADJUSTMENT, LEACHING OR
COVERING SALINE SOILS TO PROVIDED VIABLE CONDITIONS FOR GROWTH.
HYDROSEEDED AREAS SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO PROVIDE A VIGOROUS GROWTH UNTIL
THE PROJECT IS PERMANENTLY LANDSCAPED OR, FOR AREAS WHERE HYDROSEEDING IS
THE PERMANENT LANDSCAPING, UNTIL THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED AND ALL BONDS
RELEASED.
