General Description:
Onsite as requested by contractor to inspect caisson installation for a proposed carport off Cannon Road. The caissons are
located on the eastern end of the site perpendicular to the main road. Upon arrival onsite, fourteen caisson were excavated
within two adjacent sections with rebar continuing to be installed.
All caisson were excavated to according to minimum plan dimensions. Caissons were dug out ranging from 7 to 8 feet deep
with an approximate diameter of 3 feet. Fill material consist of a dry moderate brown clay grade material. No ground water or
cave ins were observed .
Plans were made to finish rebar and steel frame installation by the end of today with concrete installation planned for Monday
(10/19).
