The permit was issued for the addition of infrared lighting to an automotive drying booth. Violations still exist in the exhaust duct system not terminating l 0' (ten feet) from property line as shown on the approved plans. You are required to obtain a new permit before this work can be recommenced. After this permit is obtained and the ducting is installed, it is the duty of the person doing the work authorized by the permit to notify the Building Department that such work is ready for inspection. The City of Carlsbad has not given or implied any approval to operate this system, and its continued operation is a violation of 1991 Uniform Mechanical Code, Section 204.
