The Housing and Redevelopment Department has determined that project is exempt from the requirement to obtain a redevelopment permit. This exemption is based upon the fact that the project involves an addition (144 square feet) to an existing structure (5,000 square feet) which will result in an increase ofless than 10% of the internal floor area. In addition, the following conditions of approval must be complied with prior to the commencement of your opening for business: 1. The project shall be consistent, with the description contained in the attached letter, site plan and building efevations dated May 7, 1997; 2. Obtain the appropriate permits from the Building Department; 3. Obtain approval from the Housing and Redevelopment Department for any signs to be used in conjunction with the business; 4. Obtain a Business License from the Finance Department. Please contact the Building Department directly at 2075 Las Palmas Drive to obtain your building permits for the subject project. You will need to provide the Building Department with a copy of this letter for proof that you obtained approval to proceed with your project form the Redevelopment Department.
