A site check seemingly shows that the easterly wall of the building is on the property line. Table 5-A, U.B.C. re- quires that walls less than three (3'') feet from property line for ''M-1 occupancy'' (Occupancy classification for Storage Shed) shall be protected on the exterior with mate- rials of one (1) hour fire resistive construction. Also no roof overhang shall project beyond the property line. The property survey markers shall be exposed to ve~ify the exact location of property line. · 2. Double top plates are required for exterior stud walls per Section 2518-g U.B.C. 3. Rafter ties shall be nailed to top plates and spaced 48'' 0.C. maximums. 4. Wood floor and joists closer than 18'' and supporting beams closer than 12'' to the ground shall be pressure treated lumber per Section 2517 C2, U.B.C. 5. A minin1um of 4'' x 12'' beams (OF No.l) are required to support floor joists as shown in framing plan. 6. Provide joist hangers for floor joists if joists do not bear on top of the beam. ·7. Wood in contact or embedded in concrete shall be pre-treated· wood or foundation grade redwood.
