Sheet PV-3: Please correct the following: a) Delta 1: Each string has a positive and a negative lead. The single line drawing is only showing one and is not identified as positive or negative. Correct to show both. b) Delta 1: The #10 ground is okay. c) Delta 4: The #8 ground is correct as long as it's protected in a conduit, otherwise, the grounding electrode conductor must be a minimum #6 copper. d) Delta 4: It appears that a grounding electrode conductor is being run to only one inverter. Both inverters must be grounded with a grounding electrode conductor. Please correct the single line. 3. Please provide at least one section through the array. Clearly dimension the maximum height of the array at the highest point above the surface of the roof. Where any part of the array exceeds 24 inches above the roof surface, provide calculations from a CA State Licensed PE for uplift forces on the PV system, showing that all PV rack components and the roof structure and connections are adequately designed. Provide plans, details, and sections necessary to show all structural components and connections. The structural calculations, plans and details shall be sealed and signed by the P.E. 4. The following design loads shall be clearly indicated on the construction documents. (Section 1603.1) Wind load. The following information should be provided, (Section 1603.1.4) • Basic Wind speed (3-second gust), _ mph • Wind exposure shall be determined by the engineer.
