This plan review is limited to the technical requirements contained in the International Building
Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, National Electrical Code and state
laws regulating energy conservation, noise attenuation and disabled access. This plan review
is based on regulations enforced by the Building Department. You may have other corrections
based on laws and ordinances enforced by the Planning Department, Engineering Department

3. Provide a statement on the Title Sheet of the plans, stating that this project shall comply
with the 2007 California Building Code, which adopts the 2006 IBC, 2006 UMC. 2006
UPC and the 2005 NEC.
4. Please show the location of the roof mounted PV System on the title or cover sheet of
the plans.
5. Explain in the "Scope of Work" and show in the plans all structures and equipment
included with this project. Any portion of the project shown that is not that is not part of
this project should be clearly identified as "not included." Sec. A 106.1.1.
6. Provide the manufacturer's specifications for the lnverter(s) and any other system
equipment proposed to be installed in this system. The single line is showing a SB 3000
inverter; the specs are for a SF 5k, 6k, and 7k inverter. Please provide the correct specs.
Sec. A 106.1.1.
7. Show the location of all equipment, PV arrays, junction box(s), combiner box(s),
disconnect(s), lnverter(s), panelboards and services on the title or cover sheet of the
plans.
8. Show how the conductors will be run from the array to the main panel. Call out the type
of conductor/cable, and conduit to be used.
