Exterior walls closer than 3 feet to property
lines shall be one-hour rated construction and
have no openings. Such walls shall have 30
inch parapets when the building floor area
exceeds 1,000 square feet on any floor.

Projections, including eaves, may not extend
more than 12 inches into the 3 foot setback
from the property line. Section 1710.

than 30 inches from the side and rear property
