WORK.
22. IMPORT MATERIAL SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM, AND WAST£ MA IERIAL SHALL BE
DEPOS/1ED AT, A SIT£ APPRO\IED BY THE CITY ENGINEER. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL BE RfSPONSIBLE FOR ANY OfBRIS OR DAMAG[ OCCURRING ALONG THE HAUl
ROUJES OR ADJACENT STREETS AS A RESULT OF THE GRADING OPERATION.
23. BRUSH SHALL BE REMO\IED ONLY 111THIN THE AREA TO BE GRADED. NO TREES ARE
TO BE REMOVED UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOT£D ON THE PLAN.
24. ALL AREAS SHALL BE GRADED TO DRAIN. GRADING RESLJL TING IN TH[ PONDING OF
WA ER IS NOT PERMITTED. ALL EARTHEN SWALES AND DITCHES SHALL HA VE A
MINIMUM ONE PERCENT SLOPE

WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS OF THE TIME WHEN EACH SLOPE 1$ BROUGHT TO GRADE

possible after reconstruction. It is recommended
that drought tolerant deep rooting plants be used
over the re-constructed slope face. Ultimately the
