The indirect waste receptor can not be installed in the cabinet and must be open to the roof it serves. 804.1 of the UPC. Note : When alterations, structural repairs or modifications or additions are made to an existing building, that building, or portion of the building affected, is required to comply with all of the requirements for new buildings, per Section 1134B.2. These requirements apply as follows: The area of specific alteration, repair or addition must comply as "new" construction. A primary entrance to the building and the primary path of travel to the altered area, must be shown to comply with all accessibility features.
