Receive the report.
Executive Summary
Staff will present and discuss the subject of past, present, and the future of mobility in and
around Carlsbad including an evaluation of mobility trends and choices available to the public
today and the possibilities of tomorrow.
Discussion
Questions and comments are encouraged at the end of a staff’s presentation.
Fiscal Analysis
This item is a presentation on the work related to management of the city’s transportation
assets and, as such, there is no financial impact related to this item.
Next Steps
Staff will continue implementing their programs to maintain and improve mobility within the
City including working with the Traffic and Mobility Commission to update the annual workplan
in the summer of 2022.

Public Works Branch, Transportation Department does not constitute a “project” within the
meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act, or CEQA, in that it has no potential to
cause either a direct physical change in the environment, or a reasonably foreseeable indirect
physical change in the environment.

This item was noticed in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act and was available for public
viewing and review at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date.
