A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ACCEPTANCE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-
2022 WORK PLAN ANNUAL REPORT, AND APPROVAL OF THE FISCAL YEAR
2022-2023 PLANNING COMMISSION WORKPLAN .

FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.15 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code {CMC) requires that each board or
commission provide to the City Council for its approval an annual work plan of activities to be undertaken
by the board or commission and a subsequent report of its accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, the City Planner has prepared a proposed Planning Commission Work Plan for
Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and a report of the items accomplished on the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Work Plan;
and
WHERAS, the proposed work plan is shown on the attached exhibit titled "City of
Carlsbad, Planning Commission Work Plan, Fiscal Year 2022-2023" and report of accomplishments is
shown on the exhibit titled "Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Planning Commission Work Plan Annual Report"; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on April 6, 2022, hold a duly noticed public
meeting to review and consider the proposed work plan and the report of accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, at said public meeting, upon hearing and considering all testimony and
arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to
the work plan and report of accomplishments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Planning Commission
RECOMMENDS ACCEPTANCE of the FISCAL VEAR 2021-2022 WORK PLAN ANNUAL
REPORT AND APPROVAL of the PLANNING COMMISSION WORK PLAN FOR FISCAL VEAR
2022-2023. Subject to the best efforts of the comm1ss1on and the possibility of
unforeseen circumstances which may impede or delay the adoption/completion of the
items presented in the work plan.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held on April 6, 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Lafferty, Luna, Kamenjarin, Meenes, Merz, Sabellico and Stine
