Within the ACMF fund $585,079 is currently available to support eligible projects. If the Committee believes that there is sufficient balance of available funds to consider the funding of additional projects, the Committee could recommend that the City Council direct staff to solicit grant applications for the Committee’s review and make those funds available to eligible projects up to $585,079. The Committee would subsequently review grant applications received and make recommendations to the City Council on awarding funding at that time. The City Council, at its January 20, 2009 City Council meeting approved revisions to the approved method of carrying out the Committee’s directive. This document establishes the method for which the Committee must consider and evaluate the projects submitted for grant consideration and is provided as Exhibit 1. The Committee is encouraged to review the Committee’s directive and approved method.
