Stellar Solar will obtain a permit from the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) before scheduling or
erformin an h sical work at the site of installation
Production Monitoring and Internet Connections
-Production monitoring may require a high-speed internet connection (some exceptions apply)
Customer access to "full system" production monitoring will be installed and comissioned by the
utility provider's Permission to Operate date. Customer will receive a tutorial upon installation
Cellular data cards to be utilized by default for monitoring (with adequate signal). 5 years of data
included.
-Production monitoring is not compatible with Mobile Hotspots or Dial-up
If monitoring requires a local internet connection, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide
an adequate Wi-Fi signal strength to the solar monitor, prior to the commissioning of the device.
An adequate Wi-Fi signal strength, is a Wi-Fi signal strong enough to establish a secure and
reliable connection from the solar monitor to the internet.
Consumption Monitoring
Consumption monitoring hardware is not compatible with every electrical panel. Consumption
monitoring is not included with all Solar/ESS monitoring hardware. If Consumption Monitoring is
included with the customer's monitoring hardware, Stellar Solar will make every attempt to install it
at no additional cost. Stellar Solar does not guarantee compatibility with the customer's electrical
panel.
Schedule of Progress Payments
The schedule of progress payments must specifically describe each phase of work,
including the type and amount of work or services scheduled to be supplied in each phase, along
with the amount of each proposed progress payment. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR A
CONTRACTOR TO COLLECT PAYMENT FOR WORK NOT YET COMPLETED, OR FOR
MATERIALS NOT YET DELIVERED. HOWEVER, A CONTRACTOR MAY REQUIRE A DOWN
PAYMENT."
THE DOWN PAYMENT MAY NOT EXCEED $1,000 OR 10 PERCENT OF THE CONTRACT

HOA Conditions
Customer is responsible for all associated HOA approvals and associated fees. Stellar Solar will
-provide any necessary consultation and supporting documentation. Any delays caused by HOA
ma extend the Estimated Installation Window
PV Back-Up Power Source
Grid-Tied Solar Electric Systems WILL NOT provide a back up source of power in the event of a
utility power outage or "Black Out" unless it has been paired with a battery back-up system.
-If installing a battery system, refer to battery addendum
Pre-Existing Conditions
Stellar Solar is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions that may require permitting or that
-have not been permitted. Any structure or pre-existing condition that does not meet current
building or electrical code will not be the responsibility of Stellar Solar.
Stellar Solar will not perform a complete roof examination. If there are concerns with the integrity
of your roof please consult with a licensed roofing contractor.
