Amendment to Land Use Element of
The General Plan
Submitted By: -,,, Planning Commission
Statement of the Matter
The Planning Commission initiated Resolution of Intention No. 71
to hold a public hearing to consider subject amendment. The
adoption of this document is necessary to make certain density
factors in the General Plan more workable and more in line with
existing land values. Also, in some cases, this will provide a
density factor to utilize newly adopted density-type zoning
ordinances and insure more orderly growth.
