The permitted drawings had shown that the panel LA is being fed via a 3-l/2"C, 4#600MCMJ#2GND, however, per our load site condition. the existing conduit is only 3", therefore #600MCM will not fit per 40% rule. Instead, we propose to run 4#500MCM CU wire rated at 90 degrees Celsius in order to provide the same ampacity rating for 400A.
