I spoke with my supervisor this morning and he was able to determine that the backer panel would
be allowed. However, he also determined that the plans as shown would be considered “stacked
copy” and not allowed per the sign program.

There is always a possibility that some of the signs shown in the photo's are not permitted.The bank however most likely would have a permit, being a corporate entity.Please discuss with a supervisor. The Jersey Mike's sign is spec'd exactly like the Wells Fargo signs atthis shopping center. Thanks,

Hi Richard, Thank you for providing this information. It is my understanding that the sign program does not state thata backer is allowed or prohibited. With that being said, I can see how the photos you have provided maybe proof of signs with a backer. Those signs in the photos may not be permitted or may benonconforming. At any rate, I can see how the section that you provided can be interpreted with“dissimilar materials and creating signs with varying colors”. Can you confirm on the sign program whichsign type standards you are following? I am happy to have a conversation with my supervisor and allowhim to take a look at the sign. Sincerely,

8. Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:
