It is concluded from the field observations ·of the various soil types and the final results of the
moisture determinations that the soils in the upper three feet below fini shed grade at the
locations sampled have been sufficiently moister:,ed to minimize the potential expansion of the
soils as recommended in our report under Project No. 69-10-25D, dated January 16, 1970.

A preliminary decision has been made, pursuant to Section 20.24.120 of the
City of Carlsbad Municipal Code, to approve the tentative map of the pro-
posed minor subdivision subject to the following conditions:
1. All structures within this subdivision shall be constructed to meet
Building Department requirements for condominium developments.
2. The subdivider shall provide separate sewer laterals and separate ~
water, gas and electric services with meters to each of the units.
3. The subdivider shall sign a written statement to the effect that he
has read Section 66427 .l of the Subdivision Map Act and that he shall
make the required notifications to any tenants occupying the uni ts at
the time the final parcel map is recorded.
4. All required fees and deposits shall be paid prior to Final Parcel
Map recordation . See attached list.
5. The tentative parcel map approval shall expire one year from the date
of the letter containing the final decision fc,r tentati ve map approval.
