I did not do a formal hydrology calculation for this project because the property is
so small and surface drains to a street that may have been there for 60 years.
The 3,280 square foot lot (6.5'x50.5') already has a house and garage on it. The
existing garage will remain but the house will be removed and rebuilt.
There are masonry walls on 3 sides. of the lot so no offsite water enters. I have a
4" pipe to handle the very small rear concrete patio. The pipe daylights out to an
onsite minor landscaped area in the side yard to provide some filtration and
infiltration.
The house and garage are elevated above the street grade and both are safe
from flooding, based on my design. There is no flooding threat to the existing
street. Except for 1 vacant lot directly across from this property, the street is all
built out.
