We have reviewed the project's structural plans (Reference No. 3) and we find that the plans are in general
conformance with the geotechnical recommendations provided in the above referenced soils report and
addendum no. 1 (Reference No. 1 and No. 2, respectively).

We have prepared this addendum to our original report and Addendum No. 1 (Reference No. 1 and
Reference No. 4) to address city/third-party comments (Reference No. 3) for the proposed new residence
to be located at Argonauta Street (APN: 215-460-05) in the City of Carlsbad (Reference No. 2). Our
responses to review comments are incorporated into this addendum report.

The site shall be designed to seismic design category D.
