Unless the Engineer approves otherwise, the Contractor shall process all project documents through Procore because this platform will be used to submit, track, distribute and collaborate on project. If unfamiliar or not otherwise trained with Procore, Contractor and applicable team members shall complete a free training certification course located at http://learn.procore.com/procore-certification-subcontractor. The Contractor is responsible for attaining their own Procore support, as needed, either through the online training or reaching out to the Procore support team. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to regularly check Procore and review updated documents as they are added. There will be no cost to the Contractor for use of Procore. It is recommended that the Contractor provide mobile access for Windows, iOS located at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/procore-construction-management/id374930542 or Android devices located at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.procore.activities with the Procore App installed to at least one on-site individual to provide real-time access to current posted drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, project documents, as well as any deficient observations or punch list items. Most substrates only require priming if sealant will be subjected to water immersion after cure. Testing should be done, however, on questionable substrates, to determine If priming Is needed. Consult Technical Service or Sikaflex Primer Te,hni,al D•1• S~ee1 for additional information on priming. Not(:: Most E.Xterlor ln.sulatlon Finish Systems (EIFS} manufacturers recommend the use of a primer. When £IFS manufacturer specifies a primer or if on-site bond testing indicates a primer is necess.arv. Sikaflex 429 primer is reccimmended. On-site adhesion testing is recommended with final system prior to the start of a job. MIXING Pour entire contents of Component '8' into pail of Component rA'. Add entire contents of COlor··pak Into pail and mix with a low-speed drill (400-600 rpm) and Sikaflex paddle.• Mix for 3-5 minutes to achieve a uniform color and consistency. scrape down sides of pail periodic.ally. Avoid entrapment of air during mixing. When mixing In cold weather (<SO •F), do not force the mixing paddle to the bottom of lhe pail. After adding Component rs, and Color-pak into Component 'A', mix the top 1/2 to 3/4 of the pall during the first minute of mixing. After scraping down the sides of the pail, mix again for another minute. The paddle should reach the bottom of the pail between the first and second minute of mixing. Scr ape down the sides of the pail a second time and then mix for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sealant is well blended. Color-pak must be used with tint base. For pre-pigmented l imestone base, just mix with low spc~d drill and Sikaflel< paddl~ {no Color-pak needed). APPLICATION METHOD/ TOOLS Recommended application temperatures 40-100 •~. Pre• conditioning units to 65-75 °F is necess.iry when working at e><tremes. Move pre-conditioned units to work i.lreas just prior to .ipplicatlon. Apply sealant only to dean, sound, dry, and frost-free substrates. Sikaflex- 2c should be applied into joints when joint slot is at mid· point of Its d~slgned expan.slon and contraction. Keeping the nozzle deep in the sealant, continue with a steady flow of sealant preceding nozzle to avoid air entrapment. Al.so, avoid overlapping of sealant since this also entraps air. Tooling and Finishing Tool sealant to ensure full contact with joint walls and remove air entropment. Joint dimension should .;)!low for 1/4 inch minimum and 1/2 inch maximum thickness for sealant. Proper design is 2:1 width to depth ratio. To accelerate the cure of Sikaflex---2c NS EZ Mix In cold weather temperatures, add Sikaflex-2c booster. Removal Uncured material can be removed with xylene. Strictly follow solvent manufacturer's warnings and in.struction.s for use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. For spillage, collect, absorb, and dispose of In accordance with current, applicable local, state, and federal regulations. LIMITATIONS • The ultimate performance of Sikaflex•-2c NS E2 Mix, depends on good joint design and proper app1 lcation. • Minimum depth in working joint is 1/4 in. • Maximum expansion ond controctlon should not exceed SO% of average joint width. • When used in ¥eas with heavy traffic either recess joint or use TG (Traffic Grade) Additive to Increase durability. • Do not cure in the presence of curing silicones. • Avoid contact with .ilcohol and other solvent cleaners during cure. • Allow 3 day cure before subjecting sealant to total water immersion. Primer is required if sealant will be subje,;ied to total water immer$ion. • Avoid exposure to high levels of chlorine. (Ma><imum level is s ppm). • Do not apply when moisture vapor transmission exists since this can cause bubbling within the sealant. • Avoid over-mixing sealant. • White color tends to yellow slightty w hen exposed to ultraviolet rays. • Light colors can yellow if exposed to direct gas. fired he.ating elements. • When overcoating, an on-site test Is recommended to determine actual compatibility. • Rigid paints, coatings or primers will crack when placed BUILDING TRUST PWM24-2325FAC Fleet Exterior CMU Wall Sealing Page 12 EXHIBIT C (Continued) DocuSign Envelope ID: B50EA1BE-E43E-494B-9DA9-D237D60D6325 over elastomeric seal.ants expe-riencing expansion or contraction • Do not use in contact with bituminous/asphaltic materials.
