A RESOLUTION OF THE TRAFFIC SAFETY AND MOBILITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2024 REGULAR
TRAFFIC SAFETY AND MOBILITY COMMISSION MEETING CALENDAR
WHEREAS, the Traffic Safety & Mobility Commission has determined that it will. establish its
scheduled regular meetings annually by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act, specifically California Government Code Section 54954,
provides for the establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
WHEREAS, all regular meetings will be scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber
located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive; and
WHEREAS, special meetings of the Traffic Safety & Mobility Commission will be called as
necessary following the requirements of the Brown Act, specifically California Government Code
section 54956.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Traffic Safety & Mobility Commission of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the 2024 calendar establishing the dates and locations for regular Traffic Safety &
Mobility Commission meetings (Attachment A) is approved.
3. That the 2024 calendar will be posted to the city's website.
4. That all regular meetings will be scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. at the Council
Chamber located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the Traffic Safety & Mobility
Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 6th day of November 2023, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Fowler, Penseyres, Newlands, Garcia and Kohl
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Coelho and Proulx
