A Leighton and Associates field representative was present to observe the footing excavation, subdrain
installation and conduct compaction testing during backfill operations for;
S.D.G & E. Retaining Wall #4, Permit# CB042364, located 2609 Town Garden Road, Carlsbad, Lot #409,
sta.31 +90. 99~32+00. 78.
The field representative has conduded that the above observations and compaction testing was performed in
accordance with the project recommendations, per Leighton and Associates Geotechnical Report for the
Bressi Ranch project, dated August 18, 2004.
