CALL TO ORDER: 3:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Burkholder, Luna.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONCURRENT MEETINGS: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:

City Attorney Cindie McMahon read the City Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 3:30 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INITIATING LITIGATION: That the City Council, by
motion, authorize a closed session to consider initiation of litigation of two cases pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4).
Council Action: City Attorney Cindie McMahon announced that there was an unauthorized disclosure
of information presented in a closed session held on March 12, 2024. In a closed session meeting held
April 9, 2024 and as authorized by the Brown Act, the City Council voted unanimously to refer the
matter to the Grand Jury -5/0.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of April 9, 2024, was adjourned at 3:46 p.m.
