CASE NAME: CASE NO.: CARLSBAD BY THE SEA SUMMERHOUSE CT 2022-0003/CUP 2022-0014/CDP 2022-0047 (DEV2022-0063) WHEREAS, Front Porch Communities and Services, "Developer/Owner," has filed a verified application with the City of Carlsbad regarding property described as Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Carlsbad Tract No. 04-22, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof no. 15639, filed in the Office of County Recorder of San Diego County, Nov. 7, 2007, as may have been amended by that Certificate of Correction recorded on Oct. 20, 2008 as instrument no. 2008-0545070 of official records. ("the Property"); and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request for a Tentative Tract Map, Conditional Use Permit, and Coastal Development Permit as shown on Exhibit(s) "A" -"V" dated April 17, 2024, on file in the Planning Division, CT 2022-0003/CUP 2022-0014/CDP 2022-0047 (DEV2022-0063) - CARLSBAD BY THE SEA SUMMERHOUSE, as provided by Chapters 20.12, 21.42, and 21.201 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Division studied the Tentative Tract Map, Conditional Use Permit, and Coastal Development Permit applications and performed the necessary investigations to determine if the project qualified for an exemption from further environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA, Public Resources Code section 21000 et. seq.), and its implementing regulations (the State CEQA Guidelines), Article 14 of the California Code of Regulations section 15000 et.
