Dear Mr. Allen: This letter confirms that NOVA Services, Inc. (NOVA) reviewed the referenced Geopier® Foundation System (WGI, 2024) for the subject project. NOVA is retained by MMK Management Group, LLC as the geotechnical consultant-of-record for the project. NOVA’s review was limited to the geotechnical aspects of the design submittal. In NOVA’s opinion, the Geopier® Foundation System is prepared in accordance with the recommendations contained in the referenced geotechnical report (GeoSoils, Inc., 2022). The geopiers can safely support foundations bearing at 4,000 psf to 5,000 psf, as appropriate. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 858.292.7575.
