A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING VALERIE CASTILLON TO THE CARLSBAD TOURISM
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Tourism Business Improvement District (CTBID) Advisory Board Member
Samantha Beszeditz resigned on March 25, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the CTBID Advisory Board has one unscheduled vacancy with no term end date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The following individual is appointed to serve on the Carlsbad Tourism Business
Improvement District Advisory Board, with no term end date, or until a replacement is
appointed:
Valerie Castillon
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 22nd day of October, 2024, by the following vote, to wit:
