Date of Decision/Notice: January 13, 1997
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that after considering all connments received, the Housing and
Redevelopnnent Director of the City of Carlsbad has APPROVED an Administrative
Redevelopment Permit (ARP 96-06) for the addition to an existing single family home located at
3215/3225 Tyler Street.
The property is located on the west side of Tyler Street, between Walnut and Pine. The project
consists of the addition of 280 square feet (additional bedroom and bathroom) to an existing
414 square foot single family home. Design of addition will be consistent with existing single
family home; wood siding to be replaced by stucco.
If you wish to appeal the decision of the Housing and Redevelopment Director on this matter to
the Design Review Board, you must file a written appeal with the Housing and Redevelopment
Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this decision/notice. Appeal forms are
available at the Housing and Redevelopment Department office located at 2965 Roosevelt
Street, Suite B. If you have any questions regarding this permit, please contact Debbie Fountain
in the Housing and Redevelopment Department office at 434-2935 or 434-2811.

Date of Notice: December 27, 1996
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing and Redevelopment Director of the City of Carlsbad
intends to APPROVE an Administrative Redevelopment Permit (ARP 96-06) for the addition to an
existing single family home located at 3215/3225 Tyler Street.
The property is located on the west side of Tyler Street, between Walnut and Pine. The project
consists of the addition of 280 square feet (additional bedroom and bathroom) to an existing
414 square foot single family home. Design of addition will be consistent with existing single
family home; wood siding to be replaced by stucco.
Those persons wishing to speak on the proposed project and intended action by the Housing and
Redevelopment Director are cordially invited to submit written comments or contact the Housing
and Redevelopment Department by 5:00pm on Monday, January 6, 1997. If you have
comments on the proposed project and intended action, please contact Debbie Fountain or
Leilani Hines in the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 434-2811. You may also provide
your comments in writing to the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 2965 Roosevelt
Street, Suite B, Carlsbad, Ca. 92008.
NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Planning Department has determined that the
environmental effects of the project described above are categorically exempt under CEQA,
Section 15301, Class 1, as a minor alteration of a private structure involving a negligible
expansion of use. A Notice of Exemption will be filed for the project.
