Subject: Motorhome & Boat Storage at 7 175 Alicante Road

Dear Mr. Godwin:
Attached is a petition against a variance to allow recreation21 vehicle parking within the 20' front yard setback
at 7175 Alicante Road Carlsbad CA 92009.
As mentioned in a previous letter, we have lived here since April of 2000 and have not seen the motorhome
moved for more than a few hours one day. The boat has been taken out for one day during that time.
The Stanojevics supposedly have rental property in San Marcos and an industrial building which houses his
business in the vicinity. Could they not store those units somewhere other than a residential neighborhood?
Better yet, they shoulctdo what we did for six years when we-had a motor home, pay for. storage in a yard meant-.. :-: ._
to keep those toys.
The site of looking at their storage yard is not good, plus other neighbors don't like it as indicated by their -- - ~. . -
signing a petition against it.

Petition Against A Variance To Store Motorhome and Boat At
7175 Alicante Rd -Carlsbad CA 92009
We the undersigned neighbors of the above property hereby vote against a variance to allow the
storage of a motorhome and boat. It detracts from the neighborhood and is, as we understand it,
against Carlsbad city ordinances.
