SUBJECT: Administrative Variance 86-16 - Realignment of fence
onto City owned property
Dear Nancy Clarkson:
You were advised by the Parks & Recreation Commission to apply for
a variance. This request was reviewed by me and I instructed Doris
Cosman to proceed with the application. When the application was
completed and submitted to the Planning Director, Michael Holzmiller,
he determined that a variance was not the proper instrument for this
request. He determined that an encroachment permit was the proper
procedure.
Michael advised that you were permitted to proceed with the fence.
The $100 fee collected for this variance will be applied toward
the encroachment permit which would be in the same amount.
