Dear Mr. Hunter,
Enclosed is a aopy of your letter dated Decen&r 1, 1986 and a copy of OUT Lkcenbr 3, 1986 letter. We appreciate all the time and energy that has gone
into OUT request for a fence variance.
We have a my of the minutes from the Parks & Recreation Wssion which
confirms that we have their approval. We also have your letter dated December 1, 1986 which instructed us to proceed with the fence and informed us that an encroacknnent permit muld be pusued with OUT $100 fee being alied wds it.
Please send us a aopy of the encroachent permit or sane form of written approval for OUT record that aonfirms that we have indeed been given an
encroachnent permit. We need written record especially in the instance that we sell ouz: home and are confronted with doubt m the part of prospective txlyers that we actually had permission to realign the fence.
We are trying tm avoid any future problems that my arne up, and though we
have the cancelled $100 check, do not fee1,certain that it constitutes written
permission.

consideration shown to us by all City of Carlsbad Officials.
