Gentlemen:
I have recently purchased Lot 100 of Carlsbad Tract No. 75-4 from
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crawford. They just forwarded to me notice
of a request for an administrative variance regarding Lot 101 to
the east of my property.
Please note my objection to the issuance of the requested variance. The wall is aesthetically unpleasing: creates a potentially dangerous condition as an attractive nuisance for my children and others; and poses a hazard because of the change in
flow of run-off and surface waters.
Prior to close of escrow on my property, I expressed my concern
and objection to Michael Harrington at 438-11661. My position
remains fixed.
