Dear Mr. Murray:
We have received your letter of May 24 appealing the Planning Director's decision regarding the above-referenced variance.
The fee to appeal a decision to the Planning Commission is
$175.00. This amount should be remitted to the Development Processing Service together with $3.25 postage for mailing notices of the public hearing. The item will then be scheduled on the Planning Commission agenda, and your application together with the Planning Director's determination and an explanatory report by staff will be submitted to the Commission for review.
At the public hearing your client will have the opportunity to address the Commission and present his reasons for appealing the decision.
The process normally takes approximately 8 weeks from the time
the fees are received.
