Notice is hereby given that an administrative variance has been applied for to allow a
wall/fence exceeding 42 inches in the front yard setback on property generally located at
2540 Chestnut Avenue, Carlsbad, California, and more particularly described as:
Lot 34 of El Camino Mesa Unit No. 5, City of Carlsbad, San
Diego County, California, Map No. 6693 filed July 24, 1970.
If you have any objections to the granting of this variance or wish to have an informal
hearing to discuss the requested variance, please notify the Planning Department, 2075 Las
