AV 904 - THOMPSON WALL - Request for an appeal of the Planning
Director's decision to deny a request for a retaining wall over six feet in
height in the side and rear yard setback at 1809 Oak Avenue.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending a continuance to February 6,1991, to allow the applicant and staff
to continue to work together to reach a solution.
This application was originally heard at the Planning Commission meeting of October 17,
1990. After receiving testimony, the Commission continued the matter to the meeting of
November 7, 1990, at the request of the applicant. At the hearing of November 7, 1990,
the Commission again continued the matter to the first meeting in January, 1991, to allow
the applicant to continue to attempt resolution. The applicant is working with the City's
contract Landscape Plancheck and Inspections Consultant, and due to the holidays has been
unable to complete all necessary work.
