Please assist me by reviewing the attached Planning application and forward comments
to me by April 2.
APPLICATION REQUEST:
The Park Place Apartments has been having trouble with trespassers and vandals
entering their property from the south and west via a six foot chain link and wooden
fence. The owner of the apartments is therefor asking permission to instal an over height
(eight foot) chain link fence along the west and south property lines.
ISSUES:
Does the alley need to be accessible for emergency vehicles?
There is an existing six foot wooden fence which divides the alley between two properties.
The alley is not public. There is a 25 foot easement granted in 1944 for access to
Alexander Beller along the west property line.
Will an eight foot high chain link fence be an adequate deterrent?
