KELSO ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE 91-07
An Administrative Variance was submitted on June 13, 1991 to allow an existing eight foot
retaining wall in the rear yard setback at 3350 Ridgecrest Drive. On December 5, 1991,
the City noticed the surrounding neighborhood (300’) about the request for an
Administrative Variance. Several neighbors (3) had expressed concerns about the wall.
Discussions and a meeting were held with those who had concerns. The City approved
the Administrative Variance on February 6, 1992. A notice of the approval, with appeal
procedures, as well as a copy of the Administrative Variance, with conditions, was sent
to those who had concerns with the wall. No appeals were received during the 10 day
appealpriod or for that matter since the close of the appeal period.
