Notice is hereby given that an Administrative Variance has been applied for to maintain an
existing combination retaining and screen wall (ranging in height up to 10 feet) exceeding
the 6 foot height requirement for walls located in the side and rear yard setback in a single
family residential zone, on property generally located at the southwest comer of Las Flores
Drive and Tuttle Street in, Carlsbad, California, and more particularly described as:
A portion of Tract 4 of Laguna Mesa Tracts according to Map
No. 1719 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego.
If you have any objections to the granting of this variance or wish to have an informal
hearing to discuss the requested variance, please notify the Planning Department, 2075 Las
Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, California 92009, in writing within 10 days of the date of this
