Re: "NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE"
Enc: Copy of Your Letter For "NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE
Dear Sirs,
I received your letter for the request for an administrative variance for
the Hill's add-on storage area on the sideyard adjacent our common property line. Your
request is granted; however, you should be placed on notice that the subject sideyard setback
variance mentioned in your letter is incorrect.
The distance between the sideyard structure and the property line is 3 feet. It is
less than 2 feet from our common property line fence. If you allowed the variance to be
granted down from the statute law of 8 feet to 3 feet, it would still be illegal. The distance
from the common fence to the sideyard structure is 22 inches and runs along the side yard for
50 feet of so.
If you are going to make a variance, you probably ought to come out here and measure
it for yourself and get it right. It's uxlx 2 feet. You're the Planning Department panting
these variances. You should be checkhg up on what in fact the actual variance dimensions
are going to be.
Thanks for your time and concern in this matter. I don't particularly like the way Mr.
Hill has covered his car-podstorage area. When you look out of and down from my
daughter's room directly above, his composite tar-paper roof and tar in all the seams to stop
any possible leaks is not the greatest to look at.
Sincerely,
Robert G. Wetherill 0
