NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that an administrative variance has been applied for to allow a reduction
of 5 feet in width for a length of approximately 84 feet in the front yard landscape setback in
order to expand the loading dock access drive to facilitate backing delivery trucks for the
Gemological Institute of America project on property generally located at, 5355 Armada Drive
Carlsbad, California, and more particularly described as:
Lots 5 and 6 of City of Carlsbad Tract No. 92-7 Carlsbad Ranch, Unit 1 &
Unit 2, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 13078, filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County December 28,1993.
If you have any objections to the granting of this variance or wish to have an informal hearing to
discuss the requested variance, please notify the Planning Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive,
Carlsbad, California 92009, in writing within 10 days of the date of this notice. If you have any
