Variance, with the contact name of Mike Grim. I then called Mike to see if there 'was, indeed, any submitted objection by the neighborhood. My inquiry was left on his message machine. His response was faxed me and is enclosed. Before speaking with him, I would appreciate your input. We are told .we have received the variance, BUT, in fact, we have not. The front yard set. back of 20 feet is being enforced, a5 you will see in #2 under COWDITIONS on page 2 from Mke. That is the very set back we asked the variance for. The 3' side yard neds to be accepted as well, but the front is imperative. .The houses in this neighborhood are built out to that 10' front set back that we ask for. This can be seen exactly on the 'property adjoining ours on the North, and South, and up and down the street! I would greatly appreciate your assistance again. CondiUons: 1. It has coma to our attention .. .. 1. The Terramar subdivision where our property is located was built in 1954, .two years before che municipal. code requiring a 20 foot front yard setback was established. This encroachment into the setback puts our property into a nan-confarming status that limits expansion of the floor area to 40% of the existing area of the residence, This limit would allow us a total of 1900 square feet of living area'on the property. Most homes in this neighborhood are much larger. We feel that the non-conforming statue placed on our residence deprives us of the right to develope out property to the standards that neighboring properties enjoy. ' We understand that other properties on the west side of Tierra Del Oro Street and Share Drive with the same non-conforming setback status as ours have been
