Minor Coastal Develonment Permit

DESCRIPTION:
Request for approval of a Coastal Development Permit to allow for grading and
stockpiling of 100,000 cubic yards of import material over Poinsettia Properties Planning
Areas 2,3, & 4.
LOCATION:
This project is within the City of Carlsbad’s Coastal Zone at: Northwest of the intersection of Poinsettia Lane and Avenida Encinas
ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER:
214-450-26, -27, & -28
APPLICANT:
HSL/BP/Michan LP
No formal public hearing is required for this application because (1) the proposed development
costs $60,000 or less; (2) no other discretionary approvals are required; and (3) there will be no
adverse impacts on coastal resources or public access to the shoreline or coast.
Be advised that a Dublic hearing will onlv be held for this uronosal uuon the receipt bv the
Citv of a written reauest for a uublic hearinp within fifteen (15) workinv davs of the date of
this notice, or bv Mav 5.2000. Failure to request a hearing or provide written comments within
the fifteen (15) working day timeframe may result in loss of the ability to appeal to the Coastal
Commission any action taken by the City on this Minor Coastal Development Permit
Application.
The PlanninP Director will determine this armlication fifteen (151 workinp davs after the
date of this notice if no nublic hearinp is reauested.
