PROJECT NAME: Poinsettia Lane Reach C Stockpile Permit
APPLICANT NAME: Arie deJonq. Jr. Family Trust
Please describe fully the proposed project. Include any details necessary to adequately

Description/Explanation.
The application requested is for a Minor Coastal Development Permit to accompany a
stockpile permit necessary for the construction of Poinsettia Lane, Reach C. The
stockpile permit is necessary at this time due to the fact that needed fill dirt is currently
being generated by a project that the client owns in San Marcos and potentially from
the grading of Aviara Parkway in association with the Mariano project. The temporary
stockpile area is located within the proposed grading area of the approved de Jong
residential subdivision, CT 98-05. The cost associated with this activity is less than
$60,000.

Development Permit issued by the City of Carlsbad.

Development costing $60,000 or more does not qualify as a Minor Coastal
Development Permit. The Planning Director shall make the final determination
regarding a project's cost of development.
The primary basis for determining cost of development will be the application of
dollar costs per square foot for different types of residential construction. These
costs are set by the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) and
are applied throughout San Diego County.
